LASER DOPPLER FLOW

RECORD & ANALYZE MICROVASCULAR DATA Stoelting’s

Record the effects of drug treatments, exercise, or inadequate blood supply on microvascular circulation with the Laser Doppler Flow module. It can be used in any situation where tissue ischemia resulting from inadequate blood supply is a significant factor. For long-term, chronic experiments, use plantable single-fiber probes. Combine LDF data with other physiological parameters such as temperature, blood pressure, ECG and a variety of other signals for a detailed physiological analysis

NIBP: NONINVASIVE BLOOD PRESSURE

The NIBP100D Noninvasive Blood Pressure system allows researchers to record high-fidelity noninvasive blood pressure and features proven, industry-leading hardware for both humans or small animals. Additionally, hemodynamic parameters are available with NIBP100D-HD.

The noninvasive blood pressure system employs a double finger cuff that is comfortable for the subject to wear and easy to place on the hand. The system outputs a continuous noninvasive blood pressure waveform that is similar to a direct arterial blood pressure waveform and displays values for systolic, diastolic, mean blood pressure, and heart rate. The system includes three cuffs, sized to accommodate children through large adults.

PLETHYSMOGRAPHY

PPG RECORDING & AUTOMATED ANALYSIS

Record and analyze plethysmography data from a variety of body locations. Record pulse rate from the fingers, ears or toes for heart rate calculation or pulse transit time studies. Look at variations in appendage size or blood volume changes to regions of the body to examine venous capacitance, outflow, and compliance measures.

Derive BPM-

► A very reliable BPM subject data can be collected with the PPG100C-MRI photoplethysmogram amplifier and associated PPG transducer. It is generally much easier to perform a PPG measurement on a subject, as all that’s required to perform a PPG is an accessible finger or toe. Only one attachment point is required to perform a BPM measurement, using PPG, versus three attachment points (via electrodes), using ECG.
